Dr. Belal Abdallah
MD, MBA
Dr. Belal Abdallah has been chairman of Project Dignity Outreach since December of 2016. In addition to assisting the homeless with weekly meals, one of Dr. Abdallah’s goals is to improve access to healthcare to many of the unfortunate poor individuals in neighborhoods where access to primary healthcare has been limited.
He has been chairman of the board of the Oakwood Accountable Care Organization (ACO) in Michigan since its creation in 2010. Dr. Abdallah has over 25 years’ experience in the healthcare arena with hands on clinical practice in all phases of a patients care from the outpatient clinical setting to the acute care hospital setting, and all the post-acute continuum including the long term acute care setting, inpatient rehabilitation setting, and skilled nursing rehabilitation.
Dr. Abdallah has Masters of Business degree from the New York University School of Business, and a medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He has outstanding leadership capability with a passion and creative ability to solve very complex problems in healthcare.
